I Would Have Lost Heart, Unless I Believed (Part 1)
Hebrew poetry has a three-part structure that includes strophe or movement from one idea to another. This is the case in Psalms 27 where David acknowledges and expresses both his joy and despair to God. Consequently, we learn how David views God as his light, salvation, and stronghold.
