Mama and Daddy Can't Save You!
Is salvation hereditary? Can we be saved simply because our relatives are saved? The short and long answer is a resounding “No.” God’s sovereign plan of salvation is fair because we are held accountable for our actions and decisions. Put simply, God saves those who repent or turn way from sin and turn to Him. Associate Pastor Julian Watkins elaborates on this more in his sermon: “Mama and Daddy Can't Save You!”
