What happens if everyone is allowed to do whatever they want, whenever they want? The result is chaos, miscommunication, and sadly, disunity. This conflict is vividly expressed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 as he warns the church about the negative effects of misplaced priorities involving spiritual gifts.
