Armor of God

Throughout the last several weeks, Pastor Seawright has focused on the Armor of God described in Ephesians 6. We've heard about the belt of truth, breastplate of righteous, and the feet of peace. Today, we learn about three other armor pieces that Christians have, based on Paul’s description in Ephesians 6:16-17: the shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit.

Scripture References: Ephesians 6:16-17

From Series: "Armor of God"

Paul's description of the Armor of God consists of five defensive pieces: the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, shield of faith, and the helmet of salvation. We also have two offensive weapons: the sword of the spirit and prayer. All seven pieces help believers overcome the power of Satan.
